Supervision of full audit studies and PPP solutions for the water distribution system and wastewater services of the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Dammam/Khobar. IBG role was to support the Ministry of Water and Electricity (MOWE) in the launched strategy to radically streamline, rationalize and improve its Kingdom-wide Water and Sanitation Services. The aim was to assess and setup the possible form of privatization of this services to efficiently manage and sustain Kingdom's natural water resources in the future.

Consulting services for the improvement of Kingdom-wide Water and Sanitation Services in terms of efficient-cy, quality and sustainability. Definition of the strategic transformation plan, recommendations for the procedural improvements and the institutional strengthening as well as identification of measures for cost savings, present and future water de-mand and future leakage control programme. Undertake losses and leakage survey in the selected areas of the water supply system to determine Unaccounted for Water and to identify the causes and contributory factors for UFW.

Elaboration of Master Plan & Feasibility Study for Waste and Storm Water Management. Assessment and rehabilitation of existing storm water channels, new channels construction and incorporation of retention basins. Segregate waste water from storm water by implementing pipe collector system towards sewage treatment plant and treated water discharge for irrigation purpose.

Expert for the tribunal in a water project conflict

The project targets at improving water supply and wastewater collection services in four towns (Istaravshan, Shakhristan, Zafarabod, Panjakent) of northern Tajikistan by selected infrastructure rehabilitation works. The project comprises following works: New water wells and rehabilitation of existing water wells, rehabilitation of existing river water intakes, replacement of existing water pipes (total approx. 50 km DN50 - DN300), rehabilitation of existing reservoirs, installation of water meters (total approx. 33'000 pieces).
